Miniature Spectrometers: BLUE-Wave Series
These miniature spectrometers are only 1 x 3 x 5 inches, about the size of a coffee mug! The BLUE-Wave series is comprised of several different miniature spectrometer models, with variations in grating size, slit resolution, and wavelength range.
StellarNet’s BLUE-Wave miniature spectrometers are ideal for applications involving chemistry, LIBS, spectroradiometry, emission wavelength monitoring, characterization of tunable lasers or LEDs, optical sensing, measuring the thickness of thin films, and more.
Each spectrometer in the series contains a USB interface with a snap shot memory to provide an instantaneous spectral image from its highly sensitive CCD detector. A 16-bit digitizer allows for fast data acquisition and a signal-to-noise ratio of 1000:1. Their miniature size and low weight makes them ideal for portable and OEM related applications, and their robust and tolerant modular design allows them to be subjected to vibrations.
