Manifold Mountable Ultra-Low Differential Pressure Sensors
First Sensor offers a new miniature manifold mountable version of its ultra-low differential pressure sensors in the LME series. These low profile sensors feature a total height of 9 mm including the pressure ports, and allow for flexible direct manifold assemblies. Each sensor is highly versatile and custom fit to adaptors for the application-specific mounting requirements.
The micro-flow-based LME sensors use First Senor’s MEMS technology, which incorporates the flow channel and sensing elements within the silicon sensor chip. The extremely small size decreases the flow by several orders of magnitude, ensuring superior immunity to dust contamination and condensation. These sensors are ideal for ultra-low differential pressure measurements, and can achieve superior life spans and expanded service intervals in medical device applications including ventilators, spirometers, sleep diagnostic equipment, nebulizers and oxygen conservers/concentrators.
