Epson PowerLite Named Favorite Projector Model In The rAVe Readers' Choice Awards

Long Beach, CA /PRNewswire/ - Epson, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide, today announced its PowerLite® Series has been awarded the rAVe Readers' Choice Award for Favorite Projector Model. The Epson PowerLite Pro L, Pro Z, and Pro G-Series projectors enable large venue installation with uncompromising image quality and high color brightness.

rAVe received more than 81,000 votes from the AV community for its 5th Annual rAVe Readers' Choice Awards this year.

"Epson won this category by a significant margin. They are the sales leader in almost every vertical market segment they target because people simply prefer 3LCD over 1-chip DLP in nearly every application," said Gary Kayye, rAVe's Founder.

Color Brightness Specification and Projector Performance
The color brightness specification (measuring red, green and blue) published by the Society for Information Display (SID) allows consumers to compare projector color performance without conducting a side-by-side shootout. With today's high definition content, presenters can display content with higher quality in brighter environments. For a truly impressive image, projectors need to offer both high color brightness and high white brightness. High color brightness is important for larger screen sizes and provides flexibility for a variety of screen materials. Without sufficient color brightness, images may be muddy, soft and lose detail, even in a dark room. For more information, visit www.colorlightoutput.com.
