Source: DILAS

MAINZ, Germany, May 26, 2015 – DILAS, the diode laser company, manufacturer of high-power diode laser components and systems in a wide range of output power and wavelengths is showcasing a series of high-brightness, fiber-coupled diode laser pump-modules at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2015, the premier international trade exhibition for the laser and photonics industry. DILAS will display it products at Booth A3.205 on June 22-25, 2015 at the Messe München, Germany.

Products at the event will include additions and enhancements to DILAS’ fiber-coupled diode laser product line, illustrating the company’s commitment to providing its customers with diode lasers that combine cutting edge performance in high-brightness, high-power and high reliability.

Products that DILAS will showcase at LASER World of PHOTONICS 2015 include:

Fiber-Coupled Pump Module: Up to 240W, 200μm, 915nm; Up to 250W, 200μm, 976nm and Up to 270W, 225μm, 976nm

High-brightness fiber laser pump modules available with optional VBG for wavelength stabilization. These tailored bar based, fiber-coupled modules target a wide range of high-power fiber-laser pumping applications in industry, research and development, as

well as in direct-diode applications.

COMPACT-EVOLUTION: 600W, 200μm, 976nm and 1200W, 300μm, 976nm

The COMPACT-EVOLUTION is a unique turn-key platform of small physical size (19” rack mountable), ease of use and operational versatility. The highlighted systems are equipped with a standard diode laser control unit used for external interfaces such as the common analog/digital interface, BUS interfaces and remote access option for easy analysis and parameter settings.

Fiber-Coupled Pump Module: 25W, 105μm, 915/976nm

Developed for Ytterbium fiber laser pumping applications requiring high speed modulation rates in the kHz regime, the module is equipped with a filter to protect against back-propagating light at >1μm. The fiber-coupled module is also suitable for medical or materials processing applications that require a small fiber core diameter and low numerical aperture (NA0.15) in a small footprint (<65 x 22 x 10 mm³).

Technical White Paper Presented
In addition, DILAS will present a technical white paper on “Surface Cladding with Multi-kW Diode Lasers.“ The presentation will take place on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at 14:40–15:00 in Hall B3.
