ChemImage Sensor Systems Presents Recent Developments in SWIR And Raman Hyperspectral Imaging Sensors At SPIE DSS 2015

PITTSBURGH, April 16, 2015 —ChemImage Sensor Systems (CISS) announces that Oksana Klueva, Ph.D, Senior Scientist will be presenting innovative results of the company's work on continuing the development of shortwave infrared (SWIR) and Raman hyperspectral imaging sensors for real time, wide area surveillance, and standoff detection of explosives and illicit drugs at the SPIE Defense, Security and Sensing (SPIE DSS) meeting in Baltimore, MD.            

Dr. Klueva's talk entitled; "Advanced shortwave infrared and Raman hyperspectral sensors for homeland security and law enforcement operations" will be presented during the "Chemical Sensing I" session (Session 5 of Conference 9455) on Wednesday, April 23 in Room 319 of the Baltimore Convention Center. Her discussion will provide attendees with an overview of the progress CISS is making in the development of SWIR and Raman hyperspectral imaging sensors for homeland security and enforcement applications. 

"This presentation describes the work CISS is undertaking to develop new sensor platforms and enhanced software which improve the detection of specific targets and increase the speed of detection, allowing the detection of threats from a safer standoff distances," said Dr. Klueva.
