1064nm NIR Raman Spectrometers
This line of portable Raman spectrometers uses InGaAs detectors to capture NIR spectra induced by 1064nm lasers.
Two different 1064nm NIR Raman Spectrometers are available in this line. The Raman-HR-TEC-IG is a high resolution spectrometer that achieves 8cm-1 resolution with a 1024 element PDA detector. The standard version has a 512 PDA and achieves 16cm-1 resolution. Both spectrometers are extremely rugged and compact, making them ideal for use in the field and in the lab. Additionally, both models are permanently aligned for shock-proof durability.
StellarNet’s 1064nm NIR Raman Spectrometers hold an advantage over systems that use lower frequency lasers. 830nm, 785nm, and other lower frequency lasers are susceptible to fluorescence interference. Silicon CCD detectors can become saturated and bloom, preventing Raman spectra from being extracted. The 1064nm lasers integrated into these NIR Raman spectrometers prevent this type of interference, resulting in more precise measurements, as well as in the identification of powders, liquids, and solids.
