Laser Modules for Microscopic Applications
Datasheet: Laser Modules for Microscopic Applications
Inside the module high quality optical elements are used and adjusted manually to obtain the optimal alignment position, allowing, for example, a beam diameter of 0.020 mm to be achieved at a distance of 100 mm (1/e²).
Despite the complexity of the optics, the external dimensions could be kept small at 95 mm in length and 12 mm in diameter. Both the wavelength and the output power can be adjusted to meet your needs. For laser safety reasons, we recommend an output power of significantly less than 1 mW.
The modules are available at operating voltages of 4.5-6 VDC or 8-30 VDC. Due to a low power consumption of less than 50 mW at an output power of 0.5 mW the FLEXPOINT® can generally be connected to existing electric circuits.
Other properties include features typical of the FLEXPOINT®: Potential-free housing and reverse voltage protection.

Optional Models - If objects of varying brightness have to be positioned, the option of an "integrated potentiometer" to retroactively dim the laser has proven valuable.
