LASER COMPONENTS Receives NASA Tech Brief Product Of The Year Award For COUNT Series

LASER COMPONENTS has received the NASA Tech Brief Product of the Year Award for the new COUNT series of single photon counting modules. The award was presented at this year's Photonics West exhibition in San Francisco.

"We are proud to have earned recognition for this exciting new product which we developed from our own APD technology and brought to market within a very ambitious timeframe" said Patrick Paul, General Manager of LASER COMPONENTS on accepting the award. The high performance and quality of the product can be attributed to the specially developed avalanche photodiode and the vertically integrated manufacturing process at LASER COMPONENTS. An additional member of the photon counting family, the new COUNT^blue series, was introduced at BiOS and features even higher detection efficiency in the short wavelength range.
