AMS Technologies Introduces Compact, Low Noise Laser Diode Control

wavelength

Martinsried, Germany — AMS Technologies announces the market launch of Wavelength Electronics' new laser diode drivers and temperature controllers (LDTC).

Wavelength Electronics tightly packed the FL500 low noise laser diode driver with the WTC3243 high stability temperature controller on a single board. The new device is ideal for applications where the mode and line width of the laser diode is critical, such as spectroscopy.

The new line drives up to 1 Amp laser diode current and 2 Amps of thermoelectric current (LDTC1020) and up to 500mA laser diode current and 2 Amps of thermoelectric current (LDTC0520).

The temperature stability with a 10kO thermistor is typically 0.001°C. The laser diode noise current is typically below 100µA.

User adjustments and status indicators are integrated. All cables and a baseplate for chassis mounting are also included. The products are backed by unlimited free technical support, online manuals and safety calculators. Evaluation quantities are typically available from manufacturer's stock (USA).
