Silicon Sensor International And QSI Announce Strategic Cooperation

Silicon Sensor International AG is one of the leading developers and producers of customer specific optic and non optic sensors in Europe. QSI is one of the leading developers and producers of laser diodes with focus in ASIA.
The cooperation agreement encompasses development, production and distribution of laser and photodiodes. Silicon Sensor will assume the distribution of QSI laser diodes in Europe and in North America through its subsidiary Pacific Silicon Sensor while QSI will strengthen the distribution of Silicon Sensor photodiodes in Asia.
With this agreement, Silicon Sensor will enhance substantially its spectrum of products. For the first time, it will be in a position to offer its clients a one stop shopping of its high quality photodiodes and the corresponding laser diodes. At the same time, new markets in Asia will be developed for Silicon Sensor products.
