QPC Lasers Set Brightness Records At "Eye-safe" Wavelengths

Laser Operations LLC, manufacturer of the industry leading QPC Lasers product line (www.qpclasers.com), announced new power and brightness records for lasers operating at "eyesafe" wavelengths between 1410 nm and 1550 nm. The company recently shipped the world's first 10 kW CW wavelength-stabilized Brightlock stack array with full collimation and unique spectral brightness of less than 2 nm linewidth. The company also announced significant brightness and efficiency improvements across the Ultra laser module product line, including chip efficiency up to 45% at room temperature and fiber-coupled modules producing 125W CW at 1470nm. These new performance levels meets the needs of numerous medical, military, and material processing applications, which previously required solid-state lasers, to be met with low cost, efficient and compact diode sources.

Laser Operations presented its upgraded "eye-safe" QPC Lasers product line at Photonics West in San Francisco.
