The newly designed site offers web visitors a way to quickly retrieve information about Photron's advanced high speed cameras and view the slow motion imagery from these systems via an online motion image gallery.

Manager of Sales and Marketing at Photron USA, Andrew Bridges, notes, "We wanted the new navigation bar to be very intuitive and the overall look of the website to reflect the advances in technology of Photron's high speed cameras. The high speed capabilities of our cameras are clearly displayed through a number of slow motion sequences taken of very fast events or phenomena." He continues, "The stunning imagery from these high speed cameras is perfectly suited for a website gallery, even considering the reduced resolution required for faster web loading. With the easy navigation and the one-click through to the Photron camera products, web visitors can quickly gain a clear understanding of our company and our extraordinary high speed imaging cameras and their capabilities."

Photron's home page graphic is a sampling of high speed images captured with Photron's ultima APX camera, showing four still photographs, selected from a sequence recorded at 4,000 frames per second (fps) of a water balloon being pierced with a scalpel and the resulting phenomenon.
