Phantom HD Records Dramatic Footage Of The Great White Shark

This past Sunday Discovery Channel kicked off Shark Week with an amazing documentary showing how the Great White Shark breaches the water's surface to catch its prey.
Producer Jeff Kurr used the Phantom HD to capture the 1 second event. When played back, the slow motion video allowed us to see this dramatic jump unfold for close to a minute. This allowed the viewer to see the Great White Shark jump from the water, catch its prey, and return to the water. Every movement that the shark made can now be studied by researchers.
