Gregory Olsen Ph.D. Becomes Chairman of the Board

Princeton, N.J. -- Marshall J. Cohen, Ph.D., has been elected president and CEO of SUI, Part Of Goodrich Corporation by the Board of Directors. He will assume Dr. Gregory Olsen's responsibilities in addition to ensuring the continued growth and success of the company. Dr. Olsen, meanwhile, will spend the next six months outside Moscow intensively training to perform SUI research and experimentation aboard the International Space Station (ISS), but will retain a leadership role in the company.

"Marshall is a proven leader and has my utmost confidence during an incredibly exciting time in our company's history," said Dr. Olsen from Star City, Russia.

Dr. Cohen co-founded SUI with Dr. Olsen in 1991. He has since led the development of InGaAs linear focal plane arrays and the first commercial indium gallium arsenide (InGaAs) two-dimensional focal plane arrays and cameras. In addition, he is the author of more than 50 scientific publications, holds six U.S. patents and has directed over 50 government-supported R&D programs.
