Laser Operations' Brightlock Ultra-G Wins Prestigious Prism Award For Most Innovative Laser Product Of The Year
Laser Operations LLC, manufacturer of the QPC Lasers product line, was presented with the 2009 Prism award for its Ultra-G™ lasers, a family of powerful and ultra-compact green 532 nm lasers based on its proprietary BrightLock® monolithic chip wavelength stabilization technology. The Company and its breakthrough products, were selected by an independent panel of industry experts and highlighted during a gala ceremony held during Photonics West in San Francisco on January 27th. In honor of the 50th anniversary of the birth of the laser, the Laser Prism Award was presented by Kathleen Maiman, widow of Ted Maiman, whose husband demonstrated the first working laser in 1960.
