JENOPTIK Announces New Passively Cooled Diode Laser On An Industry Standard Mount
Datasheet: Passively Cooled Diode Laser On An Industry Standard Mount
JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH, the leader in quality of high-power diode
lasers, has introduced its new passively cooled diode laser on an industry
standard mount (JOLD-x-CPNN-1L / JOLD-200-QPNN-1L).
Optimizing the quality of semiconductor material of JENOPTIK Diode Lab GmbH, a 100% subsidiary
of JENOPTIK Laserdiode GmbH, in connection with the assembly technology of JENOPTIK
Laserdiode GmbH has led to an output increase in all heat-conduction cooled products. Now the successful line of highly efficient conduction cooled products has been completed by a new diode laser on industry standard mounts (25 mm x 25 mm). It emits 80 W cw at 808 nm and 100 W cw between 915 and 976 nm or 200 W in pulse mode (qcw) at 808 nm from one highefficiency bar. This makes a range of optical output powers with easy to use conduction cooling accessible, which so far required cooling with deionized water.
The new product has a typical operation current of 112 A (93 A at 808 nm) and a maximum operating voltage of 1.8 V (2.0 V at 808 nm) in continuous-wave mode (pulse mode: operation current 180 A, maximum operating voltage 2.2 V). As a feature, the diode laser is also available with fast axis collimation with 90% of initial optical output power within 0.5°.
As with all the other conduction cooled types of high power diode lasers, this easy to operate, highly reliable and long living diode laser is used for several applications, e.g. pumping of solid-state lasers or material processing and medical applications.
