Indigo Systems' Large Format Phoenix Cameras Available, Ready to Deliver

Goleta, CA -- The Phoenix(R) family of large format infrared (IR) cameras from Indigo Systems is now available for immediate delivery. The near-, midwave-, and longwave-IR cameras are manufactured in-house with Indigo's proprietary CMOS readout integrated circuits (ROICs) and feature 14-bit extended dynamic range with excellent resolution, available at 320 x 256 or 640 x 512 pixels. Flexible, modular design, rugged housing and compact size make these cameras ideal for industrial, scientific and military applications.

The Phoenix NIR large format camera is equipped with an InGaAs (Indium Gallium Arsenide) detector, the MWIR features an InSb (Indium Antimonide) and the LWIR sensor is QWIP (Quantum-Well Photodetector). The Phoenix family of cameras offers many advanced features, such as snapshot (simultaneous) pixel exposure, adjustable gain, variable exposure times, high frame rate and windowing capability, and invert/revert. The compact camera head housing is an ideal enclosure for severe environmental conditions. Optional optics, e.g. microscopes and telescopes, are also available.

All three Phoenix infrared camera heads are compatible with Indigo Systems' new RToolsä software suite, designed to acquire, radiometrically calibrate, process, analyze, and archive data from advanced, digital infrared imaging systems. The RTools software kit offers the advanced IR camera user the capability to realize spatial, temporal, and spectral radiometric data in units of absolute or contrast radiance, irradiance, radiant intensity and temperature.

Indigo Systems Corporation, based in Goleta, California, is a premier developer and supplier of advanced infrared cameras and components, covering the entire infrared spectrum including near-, midwave-, and longwave-IR. Since 1996, Indigo has provided IR cameras, software, and enclosure solutions for commercial, industrial, security, military and R&D applications.
