NEW Research-Grade Stereomicroscopes From Olympus
HIGH RESOLUTION - MAXIMUM DEPTH OF FOCUS - MINIMUM CHROMATIC ABERRATIONS
The SZX2 series of research-grade stereomicroscopes from Olympus represents the highest level of optical design for 3-D viewing. The SZX16 provides a remarkably wide zoom ratio of 16.4:1 and features the Olympus Plan Apo Super Depth of Focus (SDF) objective series ranging from 0.3x - 2.0x.
The SZX16's unique design enables crystal-clear 3-D imaging of the most critically significant microstructural materials and components. When using the new clickstop feature in the two position objective revolver, it is possible to align either of the two optical axes in the zoom body with the central optical axis of the chosen objective. This assures the user of the highest quality digital images available. Parfocal objectives also eliminate the need for refocusing during use.
The SZX10 is designed to deliver the best optical performance with a 10: 1 zoom ratio. 10x eyepieces and a choice of eight objectives enable a magnification range of 3.15 to 126x with large viewfields. A comfortable working distance of 90mm is attained when using the most commonly used 1x objective. For highly reflective surfaces and observations of cracks and cavities, we recommend the use of the new coaxial illuminator - an attachable module which provides bright high intensity light.
When combined with our ergonomically-designed tilting trinocular observation tubes and adjustable focus knob tension, these new stereomicroscopes provide high performance with maximum comfort and reduced fatigue for extended use.
A wide choice of illumination sources, stands, stage adapters, digital cameras, and image analysis software gives the user unparalleled flexibility in setting up the perfect stereomicroscope inspection system that's both easy-to-use and cost-efficient. Automated focus and zoom components are also available for the user requiring more precise z-axis movement.
